Rancho Cordova Little League 2025 Levels of Play

All ages referenced below are based on what the league age will be for 2025 - please refer to the chart above.

* When assessments are done, all of the players who met a score criteria for that level are placed in the draft. For the American and National divisions-- everyone who will not move up but remain in those levels in 2025 (based on score and ability not by parent request) will be placed before any new players are brought up. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. Refer to chart above.

Juniors -  League Age 13 and 14 year olds. Schedule/games are played around District 5. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. Refer to chart above.

Majors- League Age 10, 11 and 12 year olds. 10 year olds who score high enough will automatically be placed in the Major draft.  9 year olds who score high enough can declare themselves eligible for the draft. 10/11s may be placed in National if they do not score high enough for the Major draft and/or there is a safety concern agreed upon by the commissioner committee. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. Refer to chart above.

Nationals - League Age 9 and 10 year olds. 9 and 10 year olds who score high enough will automatically be placed in the National draft. League age 8 year olds who score high enough can declare themselves eligible for the draft. League age 11 and 12 year olds will be placed in Nationals if there is a safety concern or they score too low for the Major draft. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. American - League 8 and 9 year olds. League age 7 year olds who score high enough can declare themselves eligible for the draft as long as they have also attended assessments.  League age 10 year olds will be placed in the American League if there is a safety concern or they score too low for the National Draft. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. Refer to chart above.

Farm - League age 6, 7, and 8 year olds. This level is player and coach pitch and is intended for those coming from T-Ball the prior year but can be for those not ready to move to American. League age 5 year olds who have played a year in T-Ball wishing to move to Farm will need to be assessed by our Player Agent. League age 9 year olds will be placed in Farm if there is a safety concern or they score too low for the American Draft. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025. Refer to chart above.

T-Ball -  League age 4 and 5 year olds at this level. At the start of the season, players will hit off of a TEE. Mid-season, will introduce Coach pitch pending Manager discussion prior. Some league age 6 year olds may be allowed if no prior baseball experience. League age is based on how old player is on 08/31/2025.
